Last month the award-winning Capella and Longitude 131° lodges reopened after being impacted by the economic strains of COVID-19.
The Kangaroo Island Lodge is on the mend after being consumed by bushfires in January 2020. The retreat is now closed, but ready to return stronger than ever before in 2022 or 2023.

Capella Lodge
An off the radar adventure awaits! Located on the World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island, the Capella Lodge is placed at the base of the towering Mounts Gower and Ligbird. Longitude 131° Lodge
Marvel at the red heart of Australia. The Longitude 131° basecamp exists under the majesty that is Uluru, and accessible via any number of options for Uluru flights available via Adagold. Southern Ocean Lodge
You may need to wait a while to visit the third of the luxury lodges after it was caught in the bushfires that tore through the west end of Kangaroo Island.
However, the lodge is undergoing reparations to return better than ever. Located 15km from the South Australian coast, the area is blessed with sweeping views of the vast Southern Ocean.
This lodge was dubbed ‘A Zoo Without Fences’ because of the frequent sightings of kangaroos, koalas, seals, sea lions, dolphins and whales.
Silky Oaks Lodge
The newest addition to the Baillie Lodges. A natural theatre of the surrounding World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. The doors to these 40 treehouse styled retreats are expected to open in 2021. The cluster of lodges is placed right where the ancient Daintree Forest meets the Great Barrier Reef.
