Mexico is set to become home to the world’s first luxury theme park in 2026, with VidantaWorld’s BON representing a staggering $1.3 billion investment in premium entertainment. The ambitious project, located in a winter sun destination popular with international travellers, promises to redefine theme park experiences with a sophisticated blend of thrilling attractions and upscale amenities.
Revolutionary Concept Combines Luxury and Thrills
BON, which stands for ‘Beauty Of Nature’, aims to elevate the traditional theme park experience with 23 meticulously designed attractions complemented by luxurious accommodation and world-class dining. This innovative concept targets visitors seeking premium entertainment experiences without compromising on excitement or adventure.
Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta, describes the vision: ‘VidantaWorld’s BON sets a new global standard for experiential entertainment. Our collaboration with the industry’s leading visionaries ensures VidantaWorld’s BON will not only captivate guests of all ages but also establish itself as one of the most iconic and transformative destinations in the world’.
Spectacular Rides and Attractions
The park will feature an impressive array of attractions designed to appeal to thrill-seekers and families alike:
Signature Thrill Rides
The standout attraction, Tecuani Beast, will become Latin America’s first double-launch rollercoaster, reaching exhilarating speeds of 105 km/h (65 mph). Other major thrill rides will include the mine train experience ‘Ashara: Goddess of Fire’, the suspended family rollercoaster ‘Speed of Light’, and the sit-down family rollercoaster ‘Izari’s Flight’.

One of the park’s most anticipated features is LUDÕ, a water-themed dinner show featuring performances by the internationally acclaimed Cirque du Soleil. Set in a wraparound aquarium, this immersive dining experience will allow guests to enjoy gourmet cuisine while witnessing breathtaking acrobatic displays.
Culinary experiences will be equally impressive, with 25 restaurants offering diverse international cuisine. Highlights include the authentic Mexican ‘Tacoco’, American-inspired ‘Golden Grill’, and various venues serving pizzas, seafood, and poke bowls. The tropical Kahili bar will specialise in craft cocktails and premium beverages.
Luxury Accommodation Already Welcoming Guests
While the full park experience awaits completion, the BON Park Hotel is already operational, offering guests an early glimpse of the luxury that defines the VidantaWorld concept. Accommodation options range from elegant one-bedroom suites to lavish two-bedroom configurations featuring private plunge pools and spacious lofts.
The hotel’s early opening provides prospective visitors with the opportunity to experience the development’s luxury elements and preview select attractions, as parts of the park are currently accessible one day per week. Several rides, including the Floresta Drop and Vista Wheel, are already operational.
Phased Opening and Future Plans
The development team has announced a phased opening strategy, with additional attractions, including the LUDÕ Cirque du Soleil experience, scheduled to debut next year. The complete park experience is expected to be operational by 2026, though specific opening dates and ticket pricing have yet to be announced.
With approximately 16 boutique shops, souvenir outlets, and snack venues complementing the major attractions and dining options, VidantaWorld’s BON aims to create a comprehensive luxury destination that caters to every aspect of the visitor experience.
As the world’s first self-described ‘all-generations luxury destination’ in the theme park sector, BON represents a significant evolution in destination entertainment, potentially establishing a new category in the global tourism industry.
