As stars glistened in the sky, CEOs joined together and swapped the boardroom for the dancefloor for the Dancing CEOs event. During the event, months of planning culminated in a star-studded evening filled with beautiful frocks, dashing suits, flashing lights and thousands of dollars raised for Women’s Legal Service.
After introductions, warm-ups and last-minute rehearsals, the CEOs took to the stage to showcase their talents. The anticipation increased as we waited on the edge of our seats to see our very own Business Development Manager, Katelyn Aslett, enter the stage.
In an absolutely outstanding effort, Katelyn raised $15,925.57 for Women’s Legal Service and was also awarded one of the four major category prizes – the Mirror Ball Trophy For Raising Community Awareness.
Lawyer Genevieve Dee took home the fundraising champion title after fundraising a huge $27,505. Congratulations must go to her and her team for such an amazing effort.
The event, hosted by Channel Ten’s Josh Holt raised a total of $265,000 for Women’s Legal Services. Every dollar raised by the Dancing CEOs event will mean that more women and their children will have the chance to reach a safer tomorrow and a safer future.
