Matt Guthmiller, at just 19 years old, makes a world record attempt.
Matt Guthmiller is an American Aviator who is attempting to break Australian Ryan Campbell’s world record as the youngest person to solo circumnavigate the globe by aircraft. Last Friday, Matt moved closer to the record with his arrival into Brisbane from Darwin. As well as attempting to break the world record, Matt is raising money for his chosen charity, Code.org which provides access to computer science to underprivileged students.
Adagold Aviation was pleased to assist Matt in his endeavours by providing complimentary ground support at the Adagold Aviation Brisbane Jet Base. On Saturday, with the assistance of Adagold Aviation, Sequel Communications, Air Services Australia and BAC, Matt held a media day for Australian and international journalists. He performed a demonstration flight with his modified 1981 Beechcraft Bonanza. Matt is well on his way home and we wish him all the best.
